Have you received a voucher?

Specific and older-adult health checkups assess blood pressure, blood sugar and lipids to help prevent lifestyle-related disease. Eligibility and fees depend on your insurer. We check your voucher when arranging your visit.

Specific checkups | Miyazaki City National Health Insurance: FY2026

The city extends eligibility to ages 35–74 at the end of the fiscal year. One checkup per fiscal year is free.

Available June 1, 2026–February 28, 2027. If turning 75, attend before your birthday.

Older-adult checkups | Older-person medical insurance: FY2026

For Miyazaki City residents enrolled in Miyazaki’s older-person medical insurance: age 75 or older, or ages 65–74 enrolled through recognized disability. One checkup per fiscal year is free.

Available June 1, 2026–February 28, 2027. People receiving ongoing treatment may also attend.

If turning 75 during the fiscal year, use the specific checkup before your birthday or the older-adult checkup from your birthday. You cannot use both programs in the same fiscal year.

If you have employee health insurance, check your insurer’s voucher and participating providers. We confirm whether your voucher can be used here.

Tests and what to bring

The checkup includes a health questionnaire, examination, body measurements, blood pressure, urine and blood tests. Additional program tests such as ECG are performed according to eligibility criteria and medical judgment.

  • A valid health-check voucher
  • Your My Number health insurance card or eligibility certificate
  • Medication record and previous checkup results, if available

We explain food and medication instructions when you book. Do not stop medication on your own.
