75-G OGTT DATA
75-g OGTT Statistics at Our Clinic
Two-hour blood glucose categories and aggregate age and HbA1c measurements from our clinic's 75-g oral glucose tolerance tests.
Updated September 8, 2026
Two-hour glucose: at or above vs below 200 mg/dL
Each person contributes their first 75-g OGTT with an available two-hour glucose value. These percentages are not rates of confirmed diabetes diagnosis.
Participants: 42 people Test period: 2026-02-07 ~ 2026-09-03
≥200 group
38.1%
16 / 42 people
95% confidence interval: 25.00–53.19%
<200 group
61.9%
26 / 42 people
95% confidence interval: 46.81–75.00%
A value below 200 mg/dL does not necessarily mean normal glucose tolerance. Detailed categories below 200 are withheld to protect small groups. Confidence intervals for percentages use the Wilson method.
Age and HbA1c by group
HbA1c is the nearest available measurement on the OGTT date or during the preceding 90 days. Measurements after the test are not substituted.
Age at testing (years)
| Measure | ≥200 group | <200 group |
|---|---|---|
| Participants | 16 people | 26 people |
| Mean ± SD | 66.31 ± 12.50 | 60.77 ± 17.80 |
| Median | 65.50 | 64.50 |
| First–third quartile | 58.75–75.25 | 53.00–73.75 |
HbA1c (%)
| Measure | ≥200 group | <200 group |
|---|---|---|
| Participants | At least 10 | At least 10 |
| Mean ± SD | 6.61 ± 0.92 | 6.03 ± 0.27 |
| Median | 6.55 | 6.00 |
| First–third quartile | 6.38–6.75 | 5.85–6.20 |
HbA1c sample sizes are shown as ‘at least 10’ in both groups to avoid revealing small numbers of missing records by subtraction. Age and HbA1c may include different participants.
Weight summaries and charts are withheld because both groups contain fewer than 10 people.
Statistical analysis details
| Measure | Mean difference [95% CI] | p | Holm-adjusted p |
|---|---|---|---|
| Age (years) | 5.54 [-3.93–15.02] | 0.2440 | 0.4880 |
| HbA1c (%) | 0.57 [0.07–1.07] | 0.0281 | 0.0844 |
Differences are the ≥200 group minus the <200 group. Two-sided Welch t-tests were used. After Holm adjustment for multiple comparisons, p-values for age and HbA1c are both at least 0.05. This does not establish that the groups are equivalent.
SD describes variability. Confidence intervals for mean differences are per-comparison intervals and are not adjusted for multiple comparisons.
