KIDNEY STATISTICS
Kidney Function and Urine Finding Statistics
eGFR is interpreted together with urine protein in people without diabetes and urine albumin in people with diabetes. This combination helps evaluate chronic kidney disease risk.
Measurements
- eGFR estimates kidney filtration.
- Urine protein/creatinine ratio is used for the non-diabetes table.
- Urine albumin/creatinine ratio is used for the diabetes table.
- Only the latest same-day set of required measurements per patient is counted.
Privacy protections
Public data contain no name, patient number, individual date, individual result or internal network address. Counts from 1 to 9 are displayed as “fewer than 10,” and additional suppression is used when totals or percentages could reveal them.
Limitations
These are selected patients whose required tests were available on the same day. The results do not represent all clinic patients or the general population and cannot be used to diagnose an individual.
